Marijke’s new patchwork quilt
‘It’s always a hard decision what to do with the clothes of a loved one after they have passed away, especially shirts which have been worn for many years, and which become part of a person’s persona, are hard to simply recycle. My decision to ask Lisa Watson to turn my husband Steve’s shirts and ties into a memory quilt is one of the best solutions I have found to solve this dilemma. It’s wonderfulness to fall asleep and wake up underneath a quilt full of lovely memories.’
