A cornucopia of quilts are to be found at The Festival of Quilts Quilters from around the world descend on the NEC in Birmingham at the beginning of August every year to display their awesome quilts, network and celebrate all things quilts. I find it just the tonic of colour, pattern and textures to inspire and motivate.

The Festival of Quilts is Europe’s leading patchwork and quilting event attracting over 25,000 quilters from all over the world. The show is a celebration of quilting in all its forms, with over 300 exhibitors offering essential supplies, world-class galleries of quilts from leading international makers, 350 workshops, talks and demos plus a magnificent display of over 800 competition quilts. It is the ultimate patchwork and quilting experience.

A new fair for me this year I’m excited about being part of is the Scone Game Fair, near Perth on Friday 5th July through to Sunday 7th July.
Another first time fair for me that I’m pleased to be part of is GNCCF Sheffield on Friday 12th July through to Sunday 14th July.
I’m happy to be away back up to Edinburgh to be part off #CLOTH19 at The Dovecot on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August.
