This week…I will be stitching New Liberty of London Tana Lawn Summery Cotton Patchwork Quilts…since I am now out of stock of Liberty of London quilts! As with all our collections, we only stitch our quilts in limited runs, so once they are gone they are gone…
My Liberty of London Tana Lawn lighter weight summery quilts combine the Best of British quintessential Liberty retro prints in a strip patchwork design. My New Liberty of London patchwork quilts will be in new colourways , but equally delicious.
I have additional summery patchwork quilts currently available on my online shop. Go have a look see…My summery cotton quilts are £185 each and are big enough to cover a double sized bed comfortably at approximately 190 by 145cm. This price reflects the time and care taken to make each quilt, along with the quality materials stitched into each quilt. A quilt will warm your body and comfort your soul. And if the weather does throw us a curve ball, a cosy quilt or blanket is ideal to have at hand to combat any chills during The Great British Summer.

It’s so exciting to see the first images of my Folklore Fabrics taken recently at a Derbyshire farmhouse in the Peak District. My Folklore collection is new for 2017 and is inspired by traditional universal patterns. These 2 metre and 60 cm cotton fabric lengths are woven with care in Lancashire to the highest British weaving standards, to then be used in the home, as perhaps a cosy throw, or a decorative tablecloth, or maybe a beach wrap, it’s up to you the individual to decide as these cloths are multi functional. All Folklore Fabric designs are available in several glorious colourways.
I wished to show off all the beautiful designs and colourways of my Folklore Fabrics being used within a beautiful setting. Luckily I have some v.generous friends who came to my assistance for this photo shoot. This idyllic farmhouse recently renovated is currently on sale. It’s only 10 minutes drive from the charming market town of Macclesfield, yet is also in the beautifully rugged Peak District.
Incidentally, these images and the majority of my fabulous photos are taken by the talented wedding photographer; Jo Bradbury
More delicious Folklore Fabric images to follow shortly…In the meantime, all of my distinctly British quilts, cushions & more for your home are not only made to last, they are functional as well as beautiful. And if you need any excuse to purchase an extra special gift, Easter is just around the corner…http://www.shop.quiltsbylisawatson.co.uk/

I have been keeping myself busy to avoid the Winter blues. I’m now looking onward to Spring and in the meantime keeping myself distracted by stitching…a wedding dress quilt commission. One off quilt commissions are always welcome. If you wish me to make you a quilt from cherished old clothes, or from your own special stash of fabric, I can work with you to design a quilt to the size&style that fits you&your home. I can also stitch a quilt (-floor cushion-tent-laptop cover-you decide) as a special gift to celebrate a significant event, or I can make a personalised quilt just for you or for a loved one.
Visit my commissions page for ideas and get in touch with me to discuss your quilt commission further.
