On offer from £275 to £175 this week, treat yourself or a loved one to a British Woollen Blanket
Taking inspiration from traditional Fair Isle patterns and knitted at the home of English knitting in Leicester from British wool, my woollen blankets are as distinctive as they are beautiful. These blankets are comfortably weighty and great to cosy up in, just like my quilts. And just like my quilts, my blankets fit a double bed comfortably at 225cm by 145cm.
You can find me at Altrincham Market this Sunday 26th November. Look out for my Folklore fabrics, newly stitched Liberty patchwork quilts & one of kind Harris Tweed patchwork cushions, plus lots more home accessories to brighten up your interiors, as well as keep you warm & cosy. See you there x

Scraps, a Daschund Draft Excluder. Woof!
Scraps is inspired by a dachshund draft excluder my Granny had. I have updated him for the 21st century providing you with a friendly and practical dog companion that will stop the drafts under your door, but will also look cute perched atop a sofa, dresser, bed or mantlepiece. From the tip of his nose to his tail, Scraps measures 90cm. Scraps is made from fabrics that I use in my quilts, so he is 100% British designed and made. And this week Scraps can be yours for £39, including free P&P in GB.
Thinking about the C-word, if you are starting to collate your Christmas lists (or is that just me?) and pondering postage for all of your festive gifts, here is the link to the Post Office’s last posting dates.
Next weeks festive offer is for my comfortably weighty&warming British Woollen Blankets. Enjoy your week x
P.S I am wrapping up warm this weekend for Craft in the Pen at Skipton on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th November. See you there x
Read MoreToday is the start of my festive offers
which run until Sunday 10th December.
This first week I am offering a phenomenal 40% off all my Folklore Fabrics , which includes free P&P in GB.
New in 2017, the Folklore collection is inspired by traditional universal patterns. These are patterns which can be found in designs throughout our everyday lives, in textiles, interiors and also in architecture so they have a reassuring familiarity to them.
Folklore is woven with care in Lancashire to the highest British weaving standards. Folklore Fabric is available in metered lengths, as a 200cm length to then be used in the home, as perhaps a cosy throw, or a decorative tablecloth and as a 60cm scarf or table runner length.
A heads up for next week when Scraps, my Dachshund Draft Excluder will be the festive offer of the week. Onward…

We are officially in autumn now that October is here…Right?
Personally I love the colours from the leaves turning, the brisk mornings and warm sunny days at this time of year. Of course, this is an ideal version of the marvelously problematic British weather which like many Mancunians I can be ever so slightly obsessive about (the weather & Manchester!). However, quilts (& blankets) come into their own in autumn and as well as brightening up a room with a colour pop of colour on the back of the sofa, or as a eye catching runner at the end of a bed, now you can start using them too!
My 100% Made in Britain quilts are stitched to last with iconic Harris Tweed and sumptuous velvet, trimmed in quintessential British prints. My quilts are heirlooms to pass on and as they are stitched in limited numbers they are also truly unique. Click to see my full quilts (cushions & more!) collections
With cosy – hygge autumnal days cuddling up in a quilt in mind, I am taking my Distinctly British quilts, cushions & more! to several fairs in the forthcoming months. Check out my What’s On at Quilt Towers page for more details.
