Have you heard of the March saying
In like a Lion, out like a lamb?
This seems particularly prosaic with the Beast from the East currently rampaging throughout Britain.
Rufus the cat (lion?) does not need any excuse to wrap up & keep cosy in a quilt. I do hope you are keeping warm&safe too?
This weekend I am braving the elements to take part in a celebratory Walk for Women for International Women’s Day 2018 to mark 100 years of the first women winning the right to vote.
Prior to starting By Lisa Watson, I worked in arts&education and among many exciting projects, I created this Banner with over 300 women at an International Women’s Day celebration in the beautiful Gorton Priory in 2010. The banner is now on display and can be seen at The People’s History Museum in Manchester as part of Wonder Women 2018
All the best to you&your fabulous women on International Women’s Day on 8th March.
& not forgetting on Sunday 11th March it is Mothering Sunday…
